DELIVERY SYSTEM & CHARGES

Delivery, Service, and Shipping Policy

ProGiftNet.com Member Florist Delivered Flowers and Plants:

We can deliver flowers, plants, and specialty gifts to almost all of the United States and Canada. Deliveries can also be made worldwide to more than 150 countries around the world. To place an international order, or for more specific information on the countries where we deliver, please see the list of countries available and select the country needed. If for any reason you do not see a country listed, please contact us at info@progiftnet.com for more information.

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee delivery at a specific time of day, although we will work with you to try to meet any specifications requested. Furthermore, to ensure a timely delivery, substitutions may be necessary to ensure your gift is delivered on the day you requested. Taxes are based on prevailing rates in the delivery area.

In most areas of the United States, Canada, and Europe, orders placed as late as 2pm in the recipient's time zone can be delivered that same day (earlier cut off times/days may apply to some areas and during holidays and special occasions). Some Saturday deliveries are available in certain areas for orders placed by 1pm in the recipient's time zone; however, they cannot be guaranteed and are looked at on a case by case basis. Sunday deliveries will require at least a 24 hour lead time within the recipient’s time zone to confirm Sunday delivery availability. You will be notified of any issues and/or delivery unavailability via e-mail.

If your order is placed for a National Holiday where delivery services are closed, it will be delivered ASAP on the next available business day, once services re-open locally.

Funeral Arrangements

Funeral arrangements may require additional lead-time since they are often needed at specific times and may also be larger in size than traditional arrangements. If your sympathy or funeral order requires delivery at a specific time of day, please see below for information regarding cut-off times:
  • Monday Morning Delivery: Order by Saturday at 12 noon in the recipient's time zone
  • Morning Delivery Tuesday through Saturday: Order by 3pm in the recipient's time zone on the day before
  • Afternoon Delivery Monday through Saturday: Orders must be placed with a 3 hour lead-time
  • Sunday Delivery: May be available in some areas. Orders must be placed with at least a 24 hour lead time. The availability of Sunday delivery will be determined during order checkout
Exotic Flowers and Plants

Due to the limited availability of exotic flowers and plants in certain locations, Next-Day delivery may be required depending on the delivery location. Delivery is available Monday through Saturday. You will be notified immediately if any change in the delivery date needs to be made.

International Deliveries

Outside the United States, Canada, and Europe, flower and plant orders placed by 2pm Eastern Standard Time can be delivered the next business day. Floral arrangements delivered internationally may vary due to regional and seasonal availability. The variations are detailed within our Terms and Conditions under Substitution Policy. Prices may be subject to change for certain countries due to changes in the exchange rate. You will be contacted if additional funds are required.

Service Fees

A service fee is applied to orders delivered by a ProGiftNet.com member florist; however the actual service fees charged may vary. For example, same day deliveries, weekend and holiday service fees may be higher. You will be contacted if additional funds are required to ensure a timely delivery of your order. Furthermore, you may also be contacted for extra delivery fees if the delivery address is well outside a city center, and there are no local services in the area so special arrangements need to be made to ensure delivery.

Delivery

For residential deliveries, if the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, the delivery person may leave the floral arrangement for the recipient to retrieve when they return. This may include, but is not limited to, the arrangement being left at the front or back door, with the front desk of the building or with a neighbor. If the delivery service does not see leaving the arrangement for the recipient as a possibility, they will attempt delivery the next day or attempt to contact the recipient to coordinate the best time for delivery. 

During major holidays, residential deliveries may be made as late as 9 pm. For business deliveries, if the business is closed or not accepting deliveries, delivery will be attempted the next business day. During holidays, deliveries may be made as late as 5pm. The delivery service may also contact the recipient to coordinate the best time and place for delivery.

If there are any errors or changes to the delivery address, please notify ProGiftNet.com as soon as possible to ensure a timely delivery of your order. We are not responsible for orders that do not arrive on the selected date if there is an error in the delivery address or if the recipient is not available at the address and does not respond to our requests to coordinate the delivery.

Hospitals

ProGiftNet.com cannot deliver to Intensive Care Units (ICU) or the Critical Care Units (CCU) of hospitals due to the sensitive nature of the units and the limitations placed on items coming into these units - many hospitals do not allow it. If you send flowers to someone in the hospital who is currently in, or has been placed into ICU or CCU, we'll hold the order until such time as the person is released into a regular room or released from the hospital. A fresh bouquet will be delivered on the first delivery date available. For recipients in regular rooms, please make sure the recipient is still in the hospital before scheduling the delivery, as we will not be responsible for any delay in the delivery if the recipient has already been discharged.

Additionally, delivery to the following locations may be unavailable and will require at least 48 hour lead time to confirm availability: 
  • Cruise ships
  • Airport terminals
  • Trains
  • Cemeteries
  • Post office boxes or APOs
Delivery Restrictions

We can deliver to almost 100% of households and businesses within the United States and Canada, as well as to more than 150 countries worldwide. However, we cannot deliver certain countries and/or locations due to the rules and restrictions of these special locations.
