COVID-19 Updates: 
We recognize the uncertainty that COVID-19 may be causing and would like to reassure you that the health and well-being of our florists, you our customers, and your loved ones are always our priority.

Given the unprecedented circumstances that we all find ourselves in at the moment and the fact that florists, like many other businesses, have been impacted by staff and supply shortages it is necessary for us to make some changes to our protocol at this time – details of which you will find below.

We will continue to monitor the situation very closely and will make changes to our policies if guidance changes.

Delivery Times
Due to both supply shortages and local restrictions in various countries throughout the world, we are doing all we can to ensure you delivery is made as soon as possible, however, delivery dates will need to be altered as needed. We will be reaching out to your recipient to let them know their gift will be delivered to them as soon as it is both possible and legally permissible. 

Flower Substitutions
We want to assure you that we are working hard to deliver your heartfelt wishes. To that end, we’re giving our florists greater freedom to ensure they can deliver as many messages of love as possible.

Where our florists have been unable to source certain and specific stems due to supplier shortages, we’re asking our florists to create something seriously special on your behalf using a mix of their very best in-store stems. We’re sure your loved one will be thrilled to receive whatever our florist creates.

Our Policy

The utmost care and attention is given to your order to ensure that it is as similar as possible to the requested item. However, please note that substitutions may be necessary to ensure your arrangement or specialty gift is delivered in a timely manner on the date requested. In addition, due to the nature of flowers, to ensure freshness, flowers such as lilies may arrive in bud stage to ensure the life of your arrangement.

For orders that are placed more than 72 hours in advance, you will be notified of the changes and the options available. However, due to the global time differences as well as variation in international processing times, orders placed within 72 hours of delivery may be substituted without notice to ensure on-time delivery.

Flowers

In arrangements of assorted flowers, the colors shown online will be used if at all possible, even if this means substituting other kinds of flowers of equal or greater value.

For one-of-a-kind flower arrangements, such as all roses or all lilies, we will make every attempt to match the flower type, but may substitute with another color. Vases shown in images are for display purposes only. Actual vase type, color, and style may vary based on local availability at the time of delivery. Changes are necessary to ensure timely deliveries.

Plants

For green and blooming plants, similar plants may be substituted of equal or greater value.

For one-of-a-kind plants, such as orchids, we will make every attempt to match the plant type, but may substitute with another color. Please note, orchids may arrive in bud stage, and will bloom fully with proper care. Please review our care instructions.

If the plant container shown online is not available, a similar container will be used. Ceramic containers may also be replaced for baskets, or other available options.

Specialty Gifts

Specialty gifts may be substituted with another specialty gift of equal or greater value and of similar theme and category. If an item is only available in select markets, it will be substituted for an item as similar as possible per local availability.

Brands names such as Godiva or Lindt are only available in select markets worldwide. If the same brand is not available, it will be replaced by another brand of similar or higher quality.

Special Occasions:

Please note that on special occasions such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day, cut-off times may vary depending on order location and availability. Orders placed same-day are not guaranteed for delivery on that day, and may be delivered on the next available business day. We will send you updates by e-mail confirming this information. Although we will do everything possible to ensure delivery, local availability by the ProGiftNet Member Florist may be limited. Furthermore, to ensure delivery we may request additional shipping and processing fees for the rush order.

Currency and Taxes

All orders are charged in US dollars, using the daily exchange rate. Taxes are based on prevailing rates.

Delivery

We can deliver flowers, plants, and specialty gifts to almost 100% of the United States, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and all Europe. We can also deliver flowers, worldwide, to more than 150 countries across the globe. To place an international order, or for more specific information on the 150 countries we serve, please visit our homepage.

In most areas of the United States, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and all Europe orders placed as late as 2p.m. in the recipient's time zone can be delivered that day (earlier times may apply to some areas and, during holidays or weekends, and during special occasions).

Saturday and Sunday deliveries are available in some areas for orders placed by 1p.m. in the recipient's time zone. If delivery is not available on weekends, delivery will be made the first available business day.

If your order is placed for a National Holiday where delivery services are closed, it will be delivered ASAP on the next available business day, once services re-open locally.

Delivery Information

When placing an order, you must provide complete and accurate address and contact details for the recipient. Orders without this information may be delayed, and we will not be able to guarantee on-time delivery. ProGiftNet.com will not be responsible for delays in delivery if the recipient's information is incorrect, incomplete, or not provided. A local contact number is required for all deliveries. The local ProGiftNet Member Florist may contact the recipient to coordinate the delivery, especially if the recipient is unavailable on the first delivery attempt. If a mistake is made in the delivery information, an additional delivery charge may be required.

It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the delivery address provided is able to accept deliveries. Certain locations, including but not limited to hospitals, military bases, government facilities, schools, secured buildings, and similar institutions, may have delivery restrictions or require special procedures. If a delivery is attempted and cannot be completed because the location does not accept deliveries or access is restricted, the customer must provide an alternate delivery address. If the floral arrangement has already been prepared and delivery has been attempted, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded, as flowers and floral products are perishable items prepared exclusively for that specific order.

Incorrect or Incomplete Delivery Information

It is the sole responsibility of the customer to provide accurate and complete delivery details at the time of placing an order. ProGiftNet.com shall not be held liable for any loss, delay, or failed delivery resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or misleading delivery information provided by the customer.

In cases where an order has been fulfilled and delivered to the address supplied by the customer, such delivery shall be deemed to have been completed in full accordance with the order. Should the customer request that the order be re-delivered to an alternative or corrected address, any and all costs associated with the replacement, re-delivery, or reproduction of the order shall be borne entirely by the customer.

Delivery Access & Recipient Availability

In major metropolitan or densely populated cities, deliveries to apartment buildings, offices, hospitals, gated communities, or other secured locations may require coordination with the recipient to gain access, as deliveries often cannot be left unattended at the door. If delivery is delayed, rescheduled, or unsuccessful due to the recipient’s failure to respond to calls, messages, intercom requests, or other reasonable delivery attempts, the florist shall not be held responsible for any resulting delay or non-delivery. Additional delivery attempts or re-delivery fees may apply where necessary.

Remote Area Delivery Policy

For deliveries to remote or limited-service locations, orders will be dispatched at the earliest possible opportunity; however, same-day or next-day delivery cannot be guaranteed. Delivery times may vary based on local availability, distance, and logistical constraints. Once the courier or local delivery service has been confirmed and the order is in transit or scheduled for dispatch, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Shipped Items - Failure to Collect Policy Statement

If a delivery is successfully completed to the designated pickup location, collection point, or secure holding facility, it is the recipient’s responsibility to retrieve the item within the timeframe provided by the carrier or local florist. Failure to collect the order does not constitute non-delivery and does not entitle the customer to a refund, replacement, or chargeback reversal.

Items that, by law, cannot be left unattended—such as alcohol due to age-verification requirements—will be held at a designated pickup location or returned to the carrier/local partner for secure collection. In these cases, the customer or recipient is responsible for retrieving the item in accordance with the instructions provided.

Once an item has been made available for pickup in accordance with the delivery instructions provided at checkout, the order is considered fulfilled.

Funeral arrangements 

Funeral arrangements require additional lead-time. If your sympathy or funeral order requires delivery at a specific time of day see below:

  • Monday Morning Delivery - Order by Saturday at 12 noon in the recipient's time zone.
  • Morning Delivery Tuesday through Saturday - Order by 3p.m. in the recipient's time zone on the day before.
  • Afternoon Delivery Monday through Saturday - Orders must be placed with a 4 hour lead-time.
  • Sunday Delivery is available in some areas - In those areas, orders placed before 1p.m. in the recipient's time zone can be delivered on that same day. The availability of Sunday delivery will be determined during order checkout.
Exotic Flowers and Plants

Due to the limited availability of exotic flowers and plants, next day delivery is required. Delivery is available Monday through Saturday. 

Add-Ons

Add-on items are non-brand specific and images are not meant to serve as an exact representation of the item to be delivered.  All items may vary depending on delivery location. If you would like to request a particular brand or a custom order, please contact customer service directly. If a particular add-on is not available in the location selected, it will be substituted with another add-on of equal or greater value.
  • Balloons: colors and styles may vary depending on local availability. Balloons may be filled with air or helium depending on location and availability.
  • Chocolates: brand may vary depending on the delivery location.
  • Wine/Champagne: items delivered may include wine, sparkling wine, cava, prosecco, or champagne. If you have a preference for the type of item, please let us know in Special Instructions. Otherwise, the local service will make a selection depending on availability. Specific brands cannot be guaranteed with same day/next day orders.
  • Teddy Bear: item color and style may vary.
  • Vase: size, color and style may vary.
  • Special Text Card:  item size and style may vary.
Special Instructions
While we do our best to accommodate special instructions, we cannot guarantee that all requests will be fulfilled. Specifically, we are unable to honor requested delivery time windows included in the special instructions, unless the delivery is for a funeral. Additionally, please be aware that contacting recipients by phone at the time of delivery is not always possible, as our drivers may be operating on tight schedules and limited time frames. We appreciate your understanding and recommend reaching out to us directly for any time-sensitive or critical delivery needs.

International Deliveries

Outside the United States, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and all Europe flower and plant orders placed by 2p.m. Eastern Time can be delivered the next business day. Floral arrangements delivered internationally may vary due to current exchange rates, or regional and seasonal availability. Prices may be subject to change for certain countries. You will be contacted if additional funds are required.

If the recipient is unavailable to receive the delivery, the florist will either:

  • For residential deliveries, if the recipient is not available at the time of delivery, the delivery person may leave the gift in a safe place for the recipient to retrieve when they return or attempt delivery the next day. During the holidays deliveries may be made as late as 9p.m.
  • For business deliveries, if the business is closed or not accepting deliveries, delivery will be attempted the next business day. During the holidays deliveries may be made as late as 5p.m.

Cancellations

  • To provide you with the best possible service, you may cancel your order at any time prior to when the order is prepared by the local florist. Due to the perishable nature of flowers, once an arrangement has been created it cannot be cancelled. In addition, once your gift is en route or delivered, we are unable to cancel the order.  Furthermore, if you have placed an order for a custom arrangement or specialty gift,  these cannot be cancelled.
  • Orders that have been processed through to the local Member Florist for same day delivery cannot be cancelled.
  • If you selected a future date for delivery and would like to cancel your order, please contact us for a cancellation request.
